Ambitions.
We aim to design buildings that positively impact both their users and the environment. Our ambition is to create buildings that are well-connected and integrated into their surroundings. Places that connect people with each other and with their environment to make them deel comfortable and confident.
Quality.
We believe that good architecture is the result of a collaborative creative effort in which understanding of complex interests, strategic choices and practical solutions go hand in hand with optimism, imagination and ambition in order to create valuable and sustainable solutions for our clients.
Experience.
We have extensive experience in all stages, scales and skills of the architectural process and is committed to realizing ideas by integrating technical, functional and conceptual aspects into well functioning and beautiful contemporary contextual architecture that will be loved and long lasting.
Urgency.
We feel the urgency and see it as our responsibility to act in order to align the built environment to principles of ecology, circularity and long term stewardship. We strive for Paris-Proof buildings, which requires a big and immediate effort of all the parties involved.
Generosity.
Although designing buildings is often a search for maximum efficiency, we always try to find room for generosity. Generosity in the widest sence, material or immaterial, is a crucial aspect in making buildings that will be cherished over time.
Trust.
Good communication is key. We are open, transparent and direct in how we communicate and collaborate. Close collaboration requires involvement and investment in personal relations, but above all needs to be based on trust.

Approach.
Our initial approach is analytical and precise. We study relevant history, context, regulations, infrastructure, programme, budget and ecology to find potential solutions to the project brief, but moreover to discover potential key-qualities for the project. A concept is never the goal in itself, quality is.

BIM.
Modelling in 3D from the start gives us great control over the design process. Initial volume studies over time are seamlessly transformed into detailled BIM-model complying to ILS-standards from which data, drawings and visuals can be extracted.

Scope.
MEESVISSER is engaged in the whole building process. If not in every project individually, within the portfolio of the office we cover the whole scope, from inception to on-site execution. We enjoy the process of making which is the ultimate goal of our designs.
